My first bike a Honda MT250 Elsinore. I bought for about $200 back in 1976.
Next bike was a Yamaha TY250B trials bike. Great bike I would like to get another one.
I think the next bike I had was a Yamaha XS500B. I didn’t have it long and the photo below is the only one I have of the bike.
Then I had a Honda 750-4 Super Sports. It was a good bike but I didn’t think it handled all that well.
At sometime I had a Kawasaki trail bike for a very short time. Someone I worked with had this bike but it wouldn’t run, so I said I would take it and see what happens. I managed to get it to run and after a dew weeks I returned it to the person I got it from as didn’t really have a use for is as it wasn’t road registered.I think it was a 125cc.
Somewhere along the way I had visions of fixing up and old Ariel 500 Red Hunter. I had the frame stolen but ended up with another frame and then had the motor done up and that was about as far as I got with it. I ended up selling it to a mate of mine when I moved house as I didn’t have the room for it. The wheels were from some other bike so I could wheel it around.
Then what do you do when you have a mid life crisis? You buy a Harley. It is a 1998 XLH1200 Sportster custom. Bought April 2006 and sold August 2021.
Then the first of the new GSX’s. Bought from eBay November 2011. Sold it when we moved house in 2022.
Then about 3 month later I got another from eBay.
